In Memory of
Paul Edward Walters

"Pappy"

January 31, 1916 - September 11, 2001

Pappy had lived a long and a good life.  He was a loving and giving
husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He was a strong man and his body fought for many
months before he finally had to let go.
He fought a valiant fight and we were honored to be with
him when his battle ended.

God saw you were getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around you
And whispered, "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard-working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

May he, and all who died as a result of the Attack on
America on September 11, rest in peace.

"He will raise you up on eagle's wings."
